Senior Service Engineering Manager

Medtronic seeks a Senior Service Engineering Manager to lead a team advancing serviceability across the electrophysiology product lifecycle. The role involves technical leadership on design-for-service initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and team development in a hybrid environment at the Mounds View, Minnesota facility.
Responsibilities
- Lead team designing, developing, and supporting service engineering for complex medical device hardware and software
- Provide engineering leadership for escalated technical issues, risk management, and product improvements
- Partner across engineering, quality, regulatory, operations, and service organizations to deliver compliant solutions
- Manage team performance, develop talent, ensure engagement, and drive strategic initiative execution
- Champion service engineering best practices and oversee implementation of quality and maintainability improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with 7+ years engineering/quality experience in regulated industry, plus 5+ years leadership
- OR Advanced degree in engineering or science with 5+ years engineering/quality experience in regulated industry, plus 5+ years leadership
- Experience with medical device capital equipment, design for service, and IEC 62353 compliance
- Knowledge of product development, configuration management, and FDA service regulations
- Cross-functional collaboration and influence skills in matrix environments
- Complex technical investigation and issue resolution capabilities
- Leadership, coaching, and talent development competencies
