LHH partnered with a local company to recruit for a Benefits Specialist.
Benefits Specialist (Temporary - 6 Months) Location: Pleasanton, CA (Fully Onsite)Duration: 6month contract
Compensation: $30 to $35 We are seeking a Benefits Specialist to support employee benefit programs during a temporary assignment. This role is fully onsite in Pleasanton, CA and requires bilingual Spanish/English communication skills. The ideal candidate has prior experience in employee benefits and is comfortable navigating complex information while delivering excellent service to employees and members.
What We Are Looking For
- Ability and willingness to engage in a complex, phased training program
- Two or more years of experience working in an employee benefits environment
- Knowledge of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans preferred
- Familiarity with Anthem Blue Cross online systems preferred
- Strong organizational, timemanagement, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and other computer systems
- Selfmotivated, calm under pressure, and able to manage competing priorities
- Analytical and detailoriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Ability to expedite tasks and respond urgently when needed
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- High level of discretion with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Professional written and verbal communication skills across multiple channels
- Strong interpersonal skills when working with employees, members, and crossfunctional teams
- Support employees and members with benefitsrelated inquiries in English and Spanish
- Explain benefit plan options, eligibility, and enrollment processes
- Assist with documentation, data entry, and system updates related to benefits
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with policies and procedures
- Partner with internal teams to deliver a highquality employee experience
