Occupational Health NurseNorthStar Energy Solutions is hiring! We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to support the health and well-being of our workforce in a fast-paced utility construction environment. This role plays a critical part in employee health services, injury case management, regulatory compliance, and wellness support.The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and knowledgeable in occupational health practices, with the ability to effectively engage both field and office personnel.ResponsibilitiesProvide occupational health support for employees across field and office operationsAssess and respond to workplace injuries and illnessesCoordinate first-aid, follow-up care, and return-to-work programsManage workers' compensation cases in collaboration with HR, Safety, and third-party administratorsMaintain confidential employee health records in compliance with company policy and regulatory requirementsSupport post-offer physicals, fit-for-duty evaluations, drug and alcohol testing, and medical surveillance programsEnsure compliance with OSHA and applicable occupational health regulationsPartner with Safety teams to identify trends and recommend preventative actionsDeliver health education, wellness guidance, and case follow-up for employeesServe as a trusted resource to supervisors and leadership on occupational health mattersCoordinate with external clinics, providers, and emergency facilities as neededParticipate in incident reviews and assist with documentation and reportingRequirementsJob RequirementsCurrent, unrestricted RN licenseBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred3+ years of nursing experience required; occupational health, emergency, urgent care, or case management strongly preferredExperience supporting construction, industrial, utility, or field-based environments preferredWorking knowledge of workers' compensation, OSHA recordkeeping, and return-to-work processesStrong clinical judgment and ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalismExcellent communication and collaboration skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretionBLS certification required; COHN or COHN-S certification preferredSkills RequirementsPossess critical thinking skills.Able to effectively communicate with others.Ability to communicate in writing.Requires excellent clinical documentation skillsBenefitsAs a Quanta Services employee, we offer a wide range of benefits to fit your needs.401(k) with immediate matching and vestingFully comprehensive benefits packages; Medical, Dental, VisionShort term and long term benefitsEmployee discounts on consumer goodsEqual Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
