You’ll be: Providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers by taking orders, giving pricing information, and performing consultative sales Explaining services and benefits to customers to assist with procurement of capacity and generating business leads for the sales organization Supporting new and existing customer accounts to foster business development Creating orders, procuring loads, negotiating rates, and resolving freight-related issues Updating customers regarding shipments via phone, email, and web-based channels Facilitating effective communication with owner operators or outside agents to deliver cost-effective shipment solutions Maintaining accuracy in order documentation and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time performance Sugggesting process improvements for continuous operational excellence This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You Bring two years of industry (logistics and transportation) experience Possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, and Outlook Are a strong communicator—both written and verbal—with great customer service and professional phone etiquette Thrive in a fast-paced work environment and can effectively prioritize tasks Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and active listening skills Are a team player with a positive attitude and strong individual initiative What Happens Next As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
