Lead Cytogenetics Technologist Or Cytogenetics Technologist
An award-winning teaching hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Lead Cytogenetics Technologist or Cytogenetics Technologist to join its growing laboratory team. This highly respected facility provides a comprehensive range of services, including cancer care, maternity services, neurosciences, orthopedics, trauma care, and more.
Position Overview
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a primary day shift schedule (flexibility available). The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting cytogenetics operations, with leadership responsibilities for those stepping into the Lead role.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (BS) required
- ASCP Cytogenetics (CG) certification required
- Experience in:
- FISH analysis
- Chromosome analysis (blood and bone marrow)
- Cytogenetics wet bench setup
- Leadership experience strongly preferred (for Lead candidates)
