Heavy Civil Project Estimator - Concrete Paving Location: Litchfield Park, AZ, US Experience: Mid Level Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year Job Details We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator for concrete paving projects, with a focus on heavy civil and transportation work including highways, runways, and military airfields. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, and ensuring successful project delivery from pre-construction through close-out. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for concrete paving projects. Manage all phases of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and on-site execution. Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Monitor job costs and make recommendations to maintain profitability. Maintain strong communication across all project stakeholders. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in concrete paving and/or heavy civil project management and estimating. Strong knowledge of DOT, FAA, and other public agency project requirements. Proficient in estimating software and project management tools. Experience designing in AutoCad Civil 3D. Proficient in all MS office applications. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Minimal to no travel.
