Packaging Specialist

Job Overview JIE USA Inc is seeking a quality focused and detail-oriented Packaging Specialist to join the operations team at our North American headquarters. This role is responsible for inspecting product, preparing and packaging for safe transport. This role also interfaces with the shipping team to provide accurate weights and dimensions. Packaging Support Ensure correct items and quantities are supplied per customer sales order Package shipments for customer sales order per JIE process and quality standards Utilize ERP system to accurately maintain order fulfillment statuses and monitor workflow via dashboards Execute proper labeling per process standards Perform final quality checks on products – inspect for damage Provide final weights and dimensions for shipping team to schedule shipments Maintain safe and clean work area Assist inventory and paint / paint prep teams as needed Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence Contribute ideas and collaborate with team members to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required Experience in packaging, shipping/receiving in manufacturing environment preferred Experience utilizing ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) Skills and Competencies Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day and safely lift, push or pull up to 50lbs Reliable and accountable Strong attention to detail Solid understanding of production workflows and packaging quality standards Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operations environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with ERP systems Comfortable working cross-functionally Competitive salary and company gainshare program Paid time off and company holidays Professional development and training opportunities 401(k) plan Health, dental, and vision insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr JIE USA
