Quality Engineer II

About the role: Ensure contractual and Westinghouse quality program requirements are incorporated into project planning documents. Perform in-process software audits. Coordinate preparation for and support conduct of customer audits. Provide certification that products shipping from GICP were produced in conformance with contract and Westinghouse quality program requirements based on records review. Review and comment on project documents. Support Global I&C by coordinating Level 3 procedure maintenance activities. Confirm that CAP issues are managed to closure following corrective action program requirements. As requested, coordinate preparation for and support conduct of internal audits and ISO certification audits. Provide consultation to GIC managers and personnel on quality program questions. Participate on internal audit teams, lead internal audits, and comment on proposed Level 2 procedure revisions. You will report to Manager, I&C Quality and Operations Planning. This is a Hybrid role out of our Warrendale, PA office. Qualifications: 6+ years of experience Nuclear experience preferred not required 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience Knowledgeable with ISO standards, ASME NQA-1, 10CFR50 App.B, 10CFR21 and other nuclear industry quality standards preferred Working knowledge or experience with ISO-9001 Working knowledge of SAP not required but The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $69,200 to $86,500 per year.
