Donation Process SpecialistResponsible for all aspects of the donation process including providing excellent customer service, receiving donations, sorting items and processing donations.Education / Experience:No experience requiredQualifications / Specific Skills / Knowledge:Must provide excellent customer serviceMust be able to follow verbal instructionsRelate appropriately and positively with co-workersMust be able to safely lift and carry 50 pounds independentlyManeuver carts and containers filled with clothing and materialsMust have good vision and use of hands in sortingStooping and bending requiredStanding for extended periods of timeSome weekend work requiredResponsibilities & Duties:Provide excellent customer serviceSafely assist donors with unloading and accepting items. Use transport equipment appropriately and gain coworkers assistance as neededAccurately document donationsProvide receipt according to Goodwill Delight the Donor trainingMust interact with the public and coworkers in a positive, friendly mannerClean and sort various itemsCheck items for defects and eliminate these items from sellable itemsUse containers, carts, barrels and racks to separate itemsProcess items appropriatelyKeep work area clean and remove wasteOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
