- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of manufactured components
- Inspect incoming materials, production parts, and finished products
- Utilize precision measurement tools to verify product specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify and document nonconforming materials and products
- Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Support first article and in process inspections
- Work closely with production and engineering to resolve quality concerns
- Monitor manufacturing processes for compliance with quality standards
- Assist with calibration and verification of inspection equipment
- Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Previous quality inspection or Quality Technician experience in manufacturing
- Experience using precision measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques
- Understanding of manufacturing quality processes
- Experience documenting inspection results and quality findings
- Strong ability to identify defects and specification deviations
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
- Familiarity with coordinate measuring equipment
- Exposure to ISO based quality systems
- Experience with first article inspection
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action
- Familiarity with statistical process control
- Experience supporting calibration activities
