Join us, as together, we are Building a Better World for All of Us®.SEH is currently searching for a Construction Project Coordinator to join our talented Construction Services team!Why our employee-owners love SEH:Collaborate on amazing projects of varying size and complexity that positively impact communitiesBeing 100% employee-owned means we all share in the company's successCareer development through continued education, licensure/certification, skills, and technical trainingWork arrangements that promote work/life balanceFlexible holidays enable individuals to tailor their festivitiesPaid Family Leave provides time to care for loved ones, whether family by birth or family by choiceThis Opportunity:Join our talented team to support highway project field inspections and oversight, working alongside an established team to expand our presence throughout the Florida PanhandleInspect construction on highway and transportation projects to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications.Document the day-to-day field and inspection activities, material sampling and testing, and measuring of quantities.Prepare for and assist with preconstruction meetings, progress, and conflict resolution meetings, negotiate and prepare construction change orders.Interact and communicate with clients, contractors, and other SEH personnel.Candidates with skills in AutoCAD or Microstation will participate in production activities while in the officeMay assist in development of proposals, estimating project budgets and schedules and completing constructability reviewsEssential Qualifications:This opportunity is open to candidates located near Tallahassee, Panama City, Destin, Pensacola, Fort Myers, Florida, or surrounding locationsHigh School Diploma or GEDStrong experience in the construction field serving as a Construction Project Representative or related role.Must have good communication skills and be able to work independently.Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and be able to walk and climb over rough terrain associated with construction sites.Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site observations, etc. Occasional overnight travel may be required.Preferred Qualifications:Two (2) or more years of experience as a Construction Project Representative on FDOT, County and/or Municipal construction projects involving earthwork, concrete and bituminous paving, site improvements, and street/utility construction.Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or related field.Possession of applicable FDOT Technical Certifications or ability to obtain within six (6) months of employmentPrevious experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStationThis position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver's license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH's Driving Program.Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $24 and $28 per hour, based on skill set and experience.
