Physical Working Conditions Continuously stand/walk or lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (20 to 50 lbs). Examples: Nurses, LPNs, and Physical Therapists. Environmental Working Conditions Indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature, and noise. Examples: patient care providers and laboratory technicians. Hazards OSHA OSHA Category 3. Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, or other potentially infectious materials; Category 1 tasks are not a condition of employment. Position & Unit Accountabilities Upholds Standards/Expectations of HSS Staff – Prioritizes assignments, demonstrates ability to prioritize, manage time, and maximize productivity. Supports Department Activities – Dependable and reliable with coworkers and independent work. Plans and Organizes – Supports department goals and objectives. Upholds HSS Professional/Clinical Standards – Initiates and maintains open, direct and effective documented and verbal communication with colleagues/medical staff and all members of the department as applicable. Responds to emails and communications/messages as soon as possible in a professional manner with compassion and understanding. Education Required Associates, Radiology. Accredited School of Radiologic Technology (AAS). Education Preferred Bachelors. Certifications/License Required BLS. ARRT – Registered Technologist Certification (RT); FL license and registration at FL DOH (LRT). Certifications/License Preferred Skills Required Demonstrates competency in the use of CR/DR Radiographic process.
