Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a dynamic and supportive school environment as a contract Occupational Therapist, offering your expertise to students across K-12 classrooms. You'll collaborate with educators and families to facilitate positive growth, empowering students through customized interventions that address their unique needs.
This full-time opportunity (26-27 hours per week) allows you to make an immediate impact throughout the academic year. Working with a diverse student population, you'll deliver therapy sessions, conduct assessments, and create individualized treatment plans—all while benefiting from a flexible schedule that supports work-life balance.
What You'll Bring:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Utah
- Previous experience with school-based occupational therapy (K-12 preferred)
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement treatment for a broad range of student abilities
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine therapy needs within the educational setting
- Develop and execute individualized therapy programs to support student goals
- Document progress and adjust plans based on student data and teacher feedback
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate on student goals
- Offer recommendations to staff to support student success in the classroom
