Facilities Associate - Financial Services Location: Midtown Manhattan, NYC Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; fully onsite A leading financial services firm is seeking a hands-on Facilities Associate to support daily facilities operations across its Midtown offices. This person will assist with bringing an expanding office space into operation and partner with the Facilities team to maintain an organized, functional, and professional workplace. This is a physically active role requiring critical thinking, frequent movement throughout the office, extended periods on your feet, and the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities Support daily facilities operations and general coordination across multiple nearby office locations. Assist with preparing new office floors for occupancy, including organizing spaces and moving furniture, equipment, and supplies. Partner with the Facilities Coordinator to address workplace needs and complete facilities requests. Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify issues and help keep office spaces organized and ready for use. Coordinate with internal teams and service providers to support facilities projects and resolve day-to-day concerns. Anticipate operational needs, troubleshoot issues, and suggest practical improvements to workplace processes. Qualifications Previous hands-on facilities experience in a corporate, professional office environment is required. Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the workday. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. A collaborative approach and willingness to take ownership of hands-on tasks. Professional communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Flexibility to support multiple nearby Midtown office locations as needed. Financial services experience is welcome but not required.
