Sanitation Associate

Location: Coralville, IA Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:30 PM Pay: $17.00/hour

Job Summary

The Sanitation Associate is responsible for keeping the warehouse, offices, and facility clean, safe, and organized.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean the warehouse.
• Empty trash and maintain trash areas.
• Clean spills and damaged products.
• Clean warehouse aisles, offices, break rooms, and restrooms.
• Perform light maintenance (replace light bulbs, collect recycling, check coolers/freezers).
• Complete cleaning logs and reports.
• Maintain outdoor grounds and dumpster areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial or warehouse sanitation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Frequently bend, squat, kneel, and reach.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Push and pull carts, pallet jacks, and cleaning equipment.
