Physical Therapist AssistantAgile offers a $10,000 Retention Bonus for this position!As a Physical Therapist Assistant, the candidate will be responsible for providing direct clinical care to patients following the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care. You will support Physical Therapists and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner. This position will see a variety of orthopedic conditions including acute work-related injuries, pre, and post-surgical injuries and conditions, and workplace wellness and injury prevention.Specialties: Orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy, ergonomics, injury preventionLocations: This position is to cover our Soledad & King City clinics on a full-time basis.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMCompensation: Starting compensation range is $36.00-$42.00 hourly. This position is also eligible for a $10,000 annual SPIF incentive opportunity, paid quarterly. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.ResponsibilitiesExecute plan of care and follow-up treatment visits with a focus on rehabilitation.Instruct and counsel patients effectively in exercises, home programs, and patient education.Maintain open communication with the patient, supervising therapist, and referring physician (when applicable) regarding the patient's plan of care and progress.Complete timely and accurate documentation.Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.Assist patients with exercises, functional activities, and use of mobility aids.Monitor and document patients' progress, reporting changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.Provide education to patients and caregivers on exercises, safety practices, and home programs.Maintain accurate treatment records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.Support patient motivation and encourage adherence to therapy programs.Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.RequirementsGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) programActive California PTA license required (or license in progress)Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.Knowledge of physical therapy office management systems and procedures.Social perceptiveness and service oriented.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and planning skills.Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.Outpatient experience is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply!BenefitsComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) plan with employer matchAnnual CME stipend with dedicated paid CME time offEmployer-paid medical malpractice insuranceQuarterly SPIF incentive opportunityPaid time off and company-paid holidaysExcellent work-life balance - no required nights, weekends, or holidaysCollaborative, fast-paced and dynamic work environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and clinic performanceWhy You Should Join Our TeamAgile Occupational Medicine is a leading occupational medicine group with a network of 42 centers dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to businesses and their employees across California and Yuma, Arizona.
