As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a busy retail distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with team members and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors in accordance with site requirements. Document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in clear, timely reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
