Overview

For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood specimens, according to physician orders, from inpatients and outpatients and delivers the specimens to the laboratory for analysis.
• Performs a variety of duties, which include filing laboratory results and computer order entry.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent and Certificate. Successful completion of phlebotomy program through an accredited phlebotomy program required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Computer experience preferred.
• ASCP preferred.
