Human Resources Generalist Job Summary: The Human Resources Generalist provides support across the Company, ensuring an optimum employee experience. Essential Functions Provide consult and guidance to local leadership. Perform conflict resolution creating a culture of mutual respect. Advise local leadership on policy interpretation and applicable employment law. Guide progressive discipline process as requested Manage leave of absences according to employment law and BWB policy and practices. New hire onboarding, including tours and paperwork completion, as requested. Proactively communicate with HR leadership any employee relations concerns. Administer Human Resource paperwork adhering to the highest level of confidentiality. Mitigate risk through consistent compliance to best practices, policy, and employment law. Create a culture of trust, promoting BWB’s Purpose & Pillars, and ensuring each employee’s voice is heard. Contribute as a collaborative team member. Report, track, and monitor ADA and FMLA cases. All other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated strong attention to detail. Business acumen to align recruiting strategy with business goals. The ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with payroll systems, e.g., ADP, Paycom. Experience with benefits administration. Qualifications, Training, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required. One (1) to three (3) years of HR experience, preferably in a high-volume environment. Previous experience coordinating worker’s compensation with some knowledge of OSHA and EEOC reporting requirements. Demonstrated conflict resolution techniques and investigative skillset Professional Certification preferred, e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP. Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate interview schedules, recruiting events, including nights and weekends. Alignment with Purpose & Pillars of BWB. Qualifications, Training, and Experience: One (1) to three (3) years of experience in an HR position required. Experience managing leaves of absence with FMLA and ADA certification. Previous experience coordinating Worker’s Compensation with knowledge of OSHA reporting requirements. Demonstrated conflict resolution techniques and investigative skillset.
