Job Description

We offer a workplace that allows caregivers to provide excellent, attentive care to a limited number of residents - as an alternative to working for a large facility where it can be hard to feel proud of the work you do. A Caregiver at our Adult Foster Care Home provides compassionate and dedicated personal care to four seniors in our residential setting. This role involves supporting clients with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being during 12-hour shifts. The position offers potential for professional growth, including advancement to a live-in manager role with room and board included.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
Assist with medication administration with accurate documentation
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
Support client mobility and transfers safely
Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients

Preferred Qualifications

At least 1 year of caregiving experience
CPR and First Aid Certification (can obtain after hiring)
Strong communication skills, English competency
Demonstrated empathy and patience
Additional training required will be paid by employer after hiring.
