Here's The Role At LCRA, we are seeking a skilled Category Buyer to join our procurement team! This role involves supporting our internal customer needs by leading sourcing events and procuring vital materials and services needed in our day-to-day operations. As a category buyer, you will be responsible for utilizing a strategic mindset while aligning with specific procurement processes. How You’ll Contribute Lead sourcing events and execute Purchase Orders for those services and materials Support multiple stakeholders within the organization with their procurement needs Follow up on existing orders with suppliers and stakeholders Support special projects throughout the year by representing Supply Chain and ensuring all LCRA purchasing policies and procedures are met. How You’re Qualified Two or more years of experience in procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management or other relevant experience.
