Picker/packer

We are looking for a meticulous, quality-focused Picker / Packer to join our custom server integration and distribution team. In this role, you will assemble, package, and ship high-value, custom logo-branded server appliances and network hardware. You will be responsible for matching server chassis with customer-specific branded faceplates, custom-printed packaging, specialized accessories, and documentation kits. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, understands ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety, and takes pride in delivering flawless, white-glove packaging for enterprise technology clients.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Order Picking & Component Verification

• Pick Hardware & Accessories: Locate and pick fully integrated server units, rack-mount rail kits, power distribution cords, transceivers, and accessory kits according to customer Work Orders (WO) and Pick Lists.
• Branding & Customization Verification: Verify client-specific branding components-matching custom screen-printed bezels, logo badges, custom packaging inserts, and client-branded quick-start guides to the correct order account.
• Serial Number Matching: Scan and cross-check MAC addresses, chassis serial numbers, and client asset tags against order management software to guarantee 100% order accuracy.

Custom Packaging & Presentation

• White-Glove Packaging: Safely package heavy, high-value 1U-4U server appliances using custom foam inserts, anti-static (ESD) shielding bags, and custom-branded outer cartons or shipping crates.
• Unboxing Experience Quality: Ensure clean application of custom box tape, shipping labels, and brand-specific stickers, maintaining strict cosmetic standards with zero smudges, scratches, or box damage.

Shipping Prep & System Logging

• System Tracking: Use handheld RF scanners and shipping software (e.g., FedEx ShipManager, UPS WorldShip, SAP, or NetSuite) to update order statuses and print shipping labels.
• Palletization & Crating: Securely band, corner-board, and stretch-wrap bulk server orders or custom wooden crates onto pallets for freight transit.
