Commercial Journeyman PlumberWe are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the commercial plumbing trade. The journeyman plumber will work under the supervision of licensed plumbers and foremen to assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on commercial job sites while learning industry best practices and safety standards.Responsibility Summary:Assist foreman plumbers with the installation of commercial plumbing systems, including water, waste, vent, and gas linesMeasure, cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand and power toolsLoad, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials on job sitesFollow blueprints, schematics, and project plans as directedMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentLearn and comply with all local plumbing codes and safety regulationsPerform basic troubleshooting and repairs under supervisionCommunicate effectively with team members, foremen, and other trades on siteAttend required training, classes, or apprenticeship program sessionsExperience Summary:3-5+ years' experience in plumbing fieldSpecial Knowledge/Skills:High school diploma or GED requiredEnrollment in or willingness to enroll in a plumbing apprenticeship program preferredBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the tradeAbility to use basic hand and power tools (or willingness to learn)Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitudeAbility to follow instructions and work well in a team environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyAbility to stand, kneel, bend, climb, and work in tight spaces for extended periodsComfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditionsAbility to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding as needed
