Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role serves as a vital communication link between patients and the assigned Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care, including personal hygiene support, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Administer medications and treatments, including respiratory therapy modalities, and accurately document care provided.
Implement and enforce infection control policies and practices.
Organize time and effort effectively to deliver quality patient care while prioritizing tasks.
Report incidents and any changes in patients' conditions to the Registered Nurse, taking appropriate action in stressful or emergency situations.
Establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with patients and team members, demonstrating understanding, patience, and tact.
Provide patient education during hospitalization and upon discharge.
Assist in the orientation and ongoing training of new staff members and students.
Maintain professional and clinical competence through active participation in continuing education programs, applying and sharing new knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse Program with current licensure.
CPR and ACLS certifications are required.
Ability to assess patient conditions through visual, auditory, and manual dexterity.
Basic computer skills, with the capacity to learn various computer programs used in the facility.
