We Are Hiring! Position: Commercial Tile Setter Location: Vancouver, WA Pay: $20-30 /hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift Who We Are Our client is a local Vancouver flooring company seeking highly skilled Commercial Tile Setters/Flooring Specialists to join an extremely busy and year‑round team. What You’ll Do Cut and shape tile to fit around obstacles and into tight spaces using hand and power tools Align and straighten tile using levels, squares, and straightedges Work as a team to lay and set tiles for various commercial projects Measure and mark surfaces per blueprints Finish joints and clean excess grout using a damp sponge Remove old tile, grout, and adhesive with chisels and scrapers Clean and prep surfaces for installation Mix and apply adhesives including mortar, cement, mastic, or glue Measure materials and surfaces for accurate installation Maintain a clean job site and handle post‑project cleanup What’s In It for You Steady, full‑time work with a busy company Opportunities for long‑term employment Supportive team environment Work with a company that values your skillset and dedication What You Need to Have Proven experience in tile setting or commercial flooring Ability to follow blueprints and layout plans Skilled in measuring, cutting, and setting tile Knowledge of adhesives and surface preparation The Musts Reliable transportation and ability to pass a Drug Test Strong work ethic and punctuality Attention to detail Team player mentality Willingness to work on commercial job sites Preferred Experience with decorative or custom tile work Background in additional flooring techniques Familiarity with power tools and commercial job site protocols #J-18808-Ljbffr Opti Staffing
