Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Business Analyst / Product Analyst to help evaluate complex business requirements, assess the impact of new initiatives, and drive informed decision-making across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who excels at understanding business processes, identifying opportunities for simplification, and translating ambiguity into actionable plans.

This is not a highly technical development role. While familiarity with AI tools and technology is beneficial, the primary focus is on business analysis, stakeholder collaboration, requirements evaluation, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple functions.
Evaluate new business initiatives, regulatory changes, tax requirements, and operational processes to determine impacts, risks, and dependencies.
Identify overlapping requirements, duplicate efforts, and opportunities for process simplification.
Assess information and make thoughtful recommendations that support business objectives.
Partner with business and product teams to define priorities and execution plans.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, and documentation efforts.
Facilitate discussions with stakeholders and drive alignment on business needs and proposed solutions.
Create clear business requirements, process flows, decision frameworks, and recommendations for leadership.
Operate effectively in ambiguous environments and bring structure to complex business challenges.
Serve as a trusted advisor who can independently evaluate information and make sound recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Manager, or similar role.
Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to evaluate business problems and formulate practical solutions.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and present concise recommendations.
Experience prioritizing competing requirements and making data-driven decisions.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting finance, tax, compliance, or regulatory initiatives.
Product management or product ownership experience.
Familiarity with AI tools used for research, analysis, and productivity.
Experience within large enterprise organizations.
Prior Walmart experience preferred (while adhering to Walmart's 6-month disengagement policy requirements)
