Litigation Attorney – Insurance Defense (BI/UM Required)

Our client, a well-regarded law firm, is seeking a Litigation Attorney with a strong background in insurance defense to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other litigation materials
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients at mediations and trial
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
• Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients
• Manage case files and ensure timely progression of matters
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to drive case outcomes
• Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar admission (required)
• 5+ years of recent insurance defense experience
• Required experience handling Bodily Injury (BI) and Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM) claims
• Strong litigation skills, including depositions and court appearances
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven organizational, time management, and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Track record of meeting billable hour requirements
