Bar Admission: Florida Referral Fee: AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired Job Description: Our law firm client is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of substantive construction defect litigation experience to join its litigation team. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney who can independently manage cases while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, drafting, and case management skills, along with the ability to handle complex construction-related disputes from inception through resolution. Key Responsibilities Manage construction defect litigation matters from pre-suit through trial preparation Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances Communicate directly with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and carriers Analyze construction documents, contracts, and defect-related claims Coordinate discovery, document review, and case strategy with litigation team members Maintain accurate billing and case management records Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to meet deadlines and client objectives Qualifications 3–5 years of substantive construction defect litigation experience required Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail Experience using ProLaw or familiarity with ProLaw is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
