Steward / Dishwasher

At Druid Hills Golf Club, we take pride in delivering high levels of service and providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere to our members. As a Steward / Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and assisting with food preparation as needed. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Pay Rate : $16/hour Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including counters, sinks, and floors Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, peeling fruit, and assembling ingredients Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations Dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas Stock supplies and notify management when inventory is low Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen and dining areas Previous experience as a dishwasher or steward in a hospitality setting preferred Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards Ability to work effectively as part of a team Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations Flexibility to work weekend and holiday shifts as required Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as boxes of supplies, as needed Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks Authorization to work in the U.S. as confirmed by E-Verify Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Short-term and long-term disability insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Verizon Phone Bill Discounts 401K + employer match (up to 6%) Culture with Monthly Awards and Recognition Free lunch daily FSA for health and dependent care Employee Golf Days Hertz Rental Car Discounts Employee Scholarship Opportunity Employee Assistance Program #J-18808-Ljbffr
