Fund Operations Manager

A well-regarded Chicago-based PE firm with $30B+ AUM is hiring a sharp, execution-focused leader into its Fund Operations team. This is a high-impact role at the centre of the firm's deal and capital activity, reporting directly to a senior Finance Principal. What you'll do Partner with deal teams to coordinate closings end-to-end, managing timelines, deliverables, and third-party advisors. Own fund-level cash management – wires, bank accounts, credit facility draws, treasury controls, and liquidity planning. Calculate capital calls, distributions, and waterfalls; prepare weekly Investment Committee reporting on fund status and pipeline. Align closely with Fund Accounting, Portfolio Analytics, and Investor Relations across financial reporting, tax items, and LP co-investments. What you'll bring 7-8+ years in private equity, fund operations, or fund accounting. A proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder workflows with ownership and precision in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
