Sr. Manufacturing EngineerResponsibilities:Motivation, i.e., helping Soundwich succeed within Job Classification ResponsibilitiesSuccessfully plan, implement, and complete projects assigned by Engineering Manager within budget and time allocatedHelp define project scope, goal(s), deliverable(s), tasks, resources, timeline(s)Track and report project status, and implement and manage change as necessary to meet project requirementsEvaluate and report project successControl and maintain all building drawingsTrouble-shoot Aerospace Resistance Welder EquipmentTrain Operators on the safe operation of Aerospace Resistance Welder EquipmentUnderstand and follow all Company Procedures and work instructions pertaining to assigned tasks, and the potential consequences of departure from these ProceduresKnowledge of the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, all Company Policies, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Customer requirements.Knowledge of the effects that nonconforming products have on our CustomersKnowledge of the Environmental Policy, Environmental Objectives, all Safety Polices, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Regulatory requirementsAware of the Quality impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Quality System and the benefits of improved personal performanceAware of the Environmental and Safety impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Environmental and Safety System and the benefits of improved personal performanceAware of how to submit Quality, Safety, Environmental and Business-Related questions or suggestions, and how to initiate continual improvementsOther tasks deemed necessary by Soundwich Management Team to be in the best interest of Soundwich and our CustomersRequirements:3 - 5 years of relevant manufacturing experienceSolid experience within an ERP systemProficiency in project management softwareStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent decision-making, team building, and leadership capabilitiesFlexible schedule based on project requirements.Robust knowledge of manufacturing techniques and toolsGood oral and written communication skillsAbility to perform in a fast-paced environmentCAD knowledge a plusPLEX knowledge a plusVision (corrected or uncorrected) to AWS D17.2 Section 4.4.1.1AWS Resistance Welding Technician CertificationMinimum Language Skills: EnglishEducation:Engineering degree or equivalent experienceAutomotive and/or aerospace industry knowledge a plus2+ years' experience in CADKnowledge of applying GD&TPPAP experience a plusQualificationsSkills:Problem Solving, PDCA, A3 & Root Cause IntermediateCAD Designer IntermediateAutomotive knowledge AdvancedAerospace Project Leader AdvancedEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
