We are seeking a skilled and dependable Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating manual machine tools and be capable of setting up and operating CNC equipment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual lathes and other manual machining equipment.
- Set up and operate CNC machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Machine parts to tight tolerances while maintaining quality standards.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform routine machine maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of machining experience preferred.
- Required experience operating manual lathes .
- Required experience setting up and operating CNC machines .
- Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
- Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
