CNC Machinist

Job Description

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a self-driven CNC Machinist in Duncan. In this manual machinist role, you will be responsible for operating and trouble-shooting mills and lathe machines. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

In a CNC Machinist job, you’ll be responsible for:

Blueprint reading
Editing and Programming
Operating Manual mills and lathes
Calipers and Micrometers
Setting optimal parameters for machining process
Selecting the appropriate cutting tools
Calculate measurements, dimensions and tolerances
Inspect material to ensure it meets quality standards
Troubleshoot and adjust the machines speed, tooling and/or cutting style to fix issues

What you’ll need:

3 years prior experience as a CNC Machinist
High School Diploma or GED
Technical and mathematical skills
Knowledge of materials
Attention to detail
Experience with machine troubleshooting
Experience operating manual mills and lathes
