Job Position: CNC Machinist

Location: Campobello, SC 29322

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. + DOE

Shift: 1st

Description: Opsource has partnered with a growing Custom Fabrication company in Campobello, SC in who is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist.

This company provides custom design, construction, installation, and a maintenance inventory for industrial machining and honing tools for the automotive, aerospace, communications, defense, commercial, medical and HVAC sectors.

Hours: Monday through Friday
Flexible Start Time: 7AM to 9AM but MUST work scheduled number of daily hours.
Pay: $20+ HR DOE
Five years' experience in setting up/operating CNC Mills and Lathes required. Those with Mechatronics or Machine Tool Tech degrees are highly encouraged to apply.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
• MUST BE ABLE TO SET UP AND OPERATE CNC MILLING/LATHES MACHINES (3-4 Axis).
• Must be able to read blueprints, have experience with AutoCAD, Creo or 3d Modeling Software.
• Experience in analyzing materials for projects and executing nonconformity management processes.
• CNC Material knowledge (Stainless steel, carbon, aluminum).
• Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance.
• Teamwork, flexibility to move from job to job to support the schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Load raw material onto machining center per procedure.
• Final analysis of finished parts.
• Adapt and improve machining processes, tool selection and speeds on a variety of materials being machine
• Use precision measuring instruments to set up machines and check machined items.
• Use standard machine tools including, but not limited to, drill press and a variety of hand, electric, etc. tools.
• Select, verify, and install tooling according to specifications and operation.
• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications per written processes and procedures.
• Work well independently with little direct supervision
• Ability to document and pass down information pertinent to other shifts in a routine and orderly manner.
• Extensive use of blueprints, process plans, program sheets, holding fixture location diagrams, etc.
• Able to set up and prepare machines for operation.
