Field Support Engineer

Prophecy Technologies

We are seeking an experienced Field Support / Desktop System Administrator to provide onsite technical support, desktop administration, hardware/software troubleshooting, and end-user support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Windows environments, laptops/desktops, peripherals, Active Directory, networking, and enterprise IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

Provide onsite/field technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.

Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows desktop/laptop systems.

Perform hardware break/fix, software installation, imaging, upgrades, and device replacements.

Administer user accounts, permissions, password resets, and group memberships using Active Directory.

Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other enterprise applications.

Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other connectivity issues.

Deploy and manage endpoints using tools such as SCCM/MECM, Intune, or similar endpoint management platforms.

Perform workstation imaging, OS deployment, patching, software distribution, and system upgrades.

Manage and troubleshoot printers, scanners, docking stations, monitors, and other peripherals.

Create, update, and track incidents and service requests using ServiceNow or other ITSM tools.

Escalate complex infrastructure, network, security, and application issues to appropriate support teams.

Maintain accurate hardware/software inventory and IT asset records.

Follow ITIL, security, change-management, and incident-management processes.

Provide VIP/Executive support when required and maintain strong customer service.

Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, procedures, and knowledge-base articles.
