Sr. VMware Administrator - Remote

Responsible for unique or complex information systems and/or information technology projects across more than one discipline, such as application support, database administration, software quality assurance/quality control, software engineering, network telecommunications, and infrastructure operations of administration, analysis, engineering and design. Provides direction to other IT Administrators on the project in a senior administrator capacity. Considered a technical specialist in a variety of IT administrator disciplines. Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter, NSX). Perform VM provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management. Monitor VMware environment health and performance. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation. Implement virtualization automation and orchestration. Perform capacity planning and resource optimization. Support disaster recovery and backup operations. Maintain VMware documentation and runbooks. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience; Master’s Degree preferred. 4+ years VMware administration experience. Public Trust clearance. Other Job Specific Skills Strong in: vSphere 7.x/8.x, vCenter, NSX, vSAN.
