Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Kirtland/Mentor, Ohio area

J ob Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Director of Quality Assurance to lead its quality function across multiple facilities. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for developing quality strategy, strengthening systems, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the Quality team and overall quality strategy
Own the quality management system and maintain AS9100, ISO 9001 and related certifications
Lead internal, customer and certification audits
Drive corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve processes, quality and productivity
Establish and monitor quality metrics and provide recommendations to senior leadership
Ensure quality procedures, documentation and training are effectively maintained

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Technology or related technical field
7+ years of manufacturing quality experience
Strong AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 experience
Experience in a precision manufacturing environment preferred
Proven leadership and team management skills
Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus
Strong communication, problem-solving and customer-facing skills
