Position Overview Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiologist The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, and the Cardiovascular Institute at the University of California, San Diego are recruiting to join a team of specialists in Heart Failure, Transplant, and Mechanical Circulatory Support. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient care for patients with advanced heart failure. Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications MD or equivalent degree Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Advanced Heart Failure Eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit Compensation Base pay range: $300,000 – $350,000. Salary negotiated annually. Eligibility for membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan.
