Phlebotomist Part Time

Phlebotomist Location: 19341 Bear Valley Rd. Suite #102, Apple Valley, CA 92308 Schedule Part Time, 25 hours per week Monday through Friday 6:30am – 11:30am, rotating Saturdays Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and promptly Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent California state‑issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of experience as a phlebotomist Current or prior experience at Labcorp Additional Requirements Application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy the state license requirement Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English Experience with geriatric and pediatric patients Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Compensation and Incentives Pay Range: $23.00 – $33.00 per hour Phlebotomists may be eligible for a quarterly bonus under the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan based on performance metrics Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD 401(k) & Employee Stock Purchase Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) Tuition Reimbursement Eligibility based on hours worked: - 20+ hours/week: full benefits roster - Less than 20 hours/week, casual, intern or temporary: 401(k) only Special 7 on/7 off schedule: all benefits except PTO/FTO EEO Statement Labcorp is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer.
