About the Rol

eWe are seeking an experienced Buyer II – Electronic Component s to support aerospace manufacturing and development programs in Merritt Island, FL. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers for electronic components, EEE parts (electrical, electronic, and electromechanical), semiconductors, connectors, passives, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and related materials required for production and engineering operations

.The successful candidate will manage the full procurement lifecycle, from requisition through invoice resolution, while ensuring cost, quality, delivery, and technical requirements are achieved

.Key Responsibilitie

• sSource and procure electronic components, EEE parts, semiconductors, connectors, passives, and PCBs
• .Develop and manage supplier and distributor relationships
• .Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs and perform price and cost analyses
• .Negotiate purchase orders, contracts, long-term agreements (LTAs), and supplier terms
• .Manage procurement activities from requisition through receipt and invoice resolution
• .Monitor lead times, allocation challenges, obsolescence risks, and supply continuity
• .Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Quality teams
• .Track supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
• .Analyze procurement data and provide recommendations to support business decisions
• .Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and contractual requirements

.Required Qualification

• sExperience sourcing electronic components, EEE parts, semiconductors, connectors, passives, or printed circuit boards
• .Experience managing RFQs, supplier negotiations, contracts, and purchase orders
• .Knowledge of supplier management and procurement best practices
• .Ability to read and interpret component datasheets, BOMs, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
• .Understanding of component lifecycle management, lead-time mitigation, and supply chain risk management
• .Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• .Experience supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• .Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards

.Preferred Qualification

• sAerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics manufacturing experience
• .Experience with counterfeit component mitigation and authorized distribution channels
• .Full-cycle sourcing and supplier negotiation experience
• .Experience partnering directly with Engineering and Manufacturing teams
• .Strong supplier performance management background
