As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol First Aid in Moosic, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.62 / Hour

1. Proof of High School Diploma/GED (C137):

   • All candidates must provide valid proof of a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate. Acceptable forms of proof include:
     • Official transcripts
     • Diploma certificate
     • GED certificate

2. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):

   • Candidates applying for positions that require access control or badge management experience must include details of their relevant experience in their application. This may include:
     • Previous roles involving security or access control
     • Specific systems or technologies used

3. CPR Certification (B205):

   • For positions that require CPR certification, candidates must provide a copy of their current certification.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
