Brand Ambassador Chelsea Piers Fitness - All New York City Locations - New York, NY 10011 Overview Salary Range $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly Description Contract, Part-Time | May October 2026 | Brooklyn & Manhattan | $18/hour Role Overview As an integral member of the Chelsea Piers Fitness team, the Brand Ambassador will oversee our outdoor promotional events throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan from April through October. This is a part-time role, but it works cross-functionally with important members of our team including Membership, Marketing, Public Relations, and more creating a great entry-level opportunity for the right person. This role will require same-day travel between Brooklyn and Manhattan, 20 hours weekly between Tuesday-Saturday. Responsibility Breakdown Physical brand representation at outdoor events (65%) Event set up / break down (25%) Event debriefing + analysis (5%) Weather monitoring & scheduling support (5%) General Responsibilities Transport, set up, and break down all materials for outdoor events and fitness classes in Brooklyn and Manhattan Manage class registration and check-in process for participants Engage with the community through challenges, relaying membership information, and promoting our brand pillars Collect leads for our membership teams; facilitate digital membership inquiries in person Take photos for use as social content Distribute giveaways and promotional items Share event recap with marketing and sales staff weekly Track weather forecasts and assist in making class scheduling decisions based on conditions Provide assistance to coaches as needed during events and classes Ride a promotional cooler bike to distribute complimentary beverages at events Qualifications Independent, motivated, and outgoing personality Strong communication and customer service skills Passionate about fitness and wellness Extremely reliable and available to work nights and weekends throughout the entire contract, specifically Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday and Sunday days for shifts that vary from 48 hours Comfortable with same-day travel between Brooklyn and Manhattan Can physically set up and break down event materials; able to lift up to 20 pounds comfortably, walk long distances, and work outdoors for up to 8 hours in all temperatures and weather conditions Comfortable riding a bike; confident cycling in an urban environment is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
