Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Cormint Data Systems is seeking qualified maintenance engineers in the Fort Stockton, Texas area to support a unique data center hosting environment. The responsibilities of this role include production machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Applicants should possess a love for technology and a wide range of mechanical and electrical skills. General electrical and mechanical knowledge are a requirement of this position. Responsibilities: Performing mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair Providing emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment and performing scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service Install, maintain, inspect and troubleshoot the repair of standard plumbing systems Preparing and setting up machinery for scheduled production runs Complying with OSHA Safety and Health rules Performing other mechanical and electrical duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Two or more years of related experience in plant maintenance Ability to operate shop equipment including welder, drill press, lathe, mill, press brake, shear, and band saws Preferred Qualifications Two or more years experience with electrical and mechanical production-line maintenance General Physical Requirements for Data Center Operations Ability to walk extensive distances and negotiate uneven terrain when necessary Ability to work in noisy environments with variable temperatures Ability to operate hand tools and equipment Ability to reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures Ability to manipulate small wires and switchers Ability to apply muscular force to equipment and fixtures Ability to push or pull heavy objects into position Ability to manually lift up to 50 pounds NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
