Senior Account Manager *URGENT*

Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Account Manager is responsible for driving customer accounts and growing Beacon’s wallet-share while serving as the main interface between the customer and Beacon. This is an exciting opportunity for strategic thinkers with strong negotiation skills who like to work tactically to execute strategic plans and take pride in leading high priority programs with high visibility. Reports to: Sr. Manager of Program Management Location: Eden Prairie, MN in‑Office JOB RESPONSIBILITIES SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This is an individual contributor role and will not have direct supervision responsibilities ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE Manage accounts of all sizes by representing Beacon’s team externally with clients and internally by working with team members in various supporting positions Develop a thorough understanding of the clients’ position in the market, their product/service, points of difference and competitive landscape Lead projects associated with accounts and provide feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels Manage day‑to‑day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects As necessary, visit clients, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship‑building opportunities Manage and coach the internal project teams Proactively remain connected to clients and the ever‑changing market to access new search opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis Effectively manage assigned customer costing and pricing process to achieve margin and profitability targets Establish and analyze program profitability against targeted levels and identify causes for discrepancies and opportunities for improvement – drive corrective action efforts as required Identify opportunities to fulfill customer requirements cost effectively and suggest alternative approaches, where appropriate Effectively escalate issues in a timely manner. Develop and manage return to green plans according to commitments ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF ALL BEACON EMBEDDEDWORKS EMPLOYEES Support, demonstrate and drive our core values Lead, don't follow Consistently deliver Never stand still Create relationships not transactions Interact positively and professionally with all employees and customers Maintain reliable attendance Perform work safely and adhere to all safety requirements Complete required training as scheduled Perform other duties as assigned JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years experience in similar role in the electronics industry Ability to effectively bring together internal resources to create and deliver winning solutions Proven skills to establish schedules, timelines, action plans, budgets and project tracking Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong negotiation skills Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (MS Office including Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint) Strong sense of urgency, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Adhere to quality management systems Able to work in a fast‑paced environment with quickly changing priorities to ensure superior customer satisfaction PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Understanding, execution and adherence to ISO 13485, CFR 21 Part 820, ISO 9001 and ISO 9001D Professional certifications (PMP, SixSigma, EMS Program Management, etc.) Experience with regulated markets (Medical, Aerospace and Defense) Experience with manufacturing and/or operations planning Experience using Intuitive, Empower, Tortious SVN documentation management and CRM or PLM tools Experience with following Program & Project Management principles is required: Proven experience with general project management waterfall lifecycle Background in phase‑gate development process and lifecycle Clear understanding verification & validation processes as it relates to new designs, design changes and the impact to manufacturing processes In‑depth experience with creating project plans/schedules, & budgets PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
