Job Details Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Duration: 16 weeks Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940-$2,040 Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Charting System: Epic Orientation: 72 hours Weekend Coverage: Variable based on unit needs Floating: Required to other Med/Surg Oncology units Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or a related nursing specialty Current telemetry monitoring and telemetry interpretation experience Experience with Epic EHR charting required BLS certification required Strong assessment, prioritization, and time-management skills Oncology nursing experience preferred Previous travel nursing experience preferred Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to unit needs Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric telemetry patients in a medical-surgical setting Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with nursing standards Support patients with a variety of oncology-related medical-surgical diagnoses Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic Follow infection prevention protocols and patient safety practices closely Float to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed to support staffing needs Why Apply for This Columbus Nursing Job?
