This is a contract opportunity covering a maternity leave from September 15, 2025, through March 9, 2026. Your background in school-based OT, combined with your understanding of the unique needs in a K-8 environment, will be key to your success here. Collaborating with educators and families, you’ll provide critical interventions that promote student success in the classroom and beyond.

Qualifications and experience that will set you apart:

• Previous experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist in a school setting (K-8 preferred)
• Valid OT license in the state of Massachusetts
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and implementation
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage caseload and adapt treatment strategies to individual needs

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and evaluating students' functional skills in areas of need
• Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans that align with IEP goals
• Working closely with teachers and support staff to support student integration and success
• Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on student progress
