Diagnostic Solutions Account Executive - Chicago, IL

Waters is seeking an Account Executive in Chicago to drive sales growth across diagnostic product portfolios including microbiology, blood culture, and molecular diagnostics. The role involves developing strategic account plans, managing complex customer relationships across clinical and administrative stakeholders, and executing territory-based sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting multiple stakeholders and buyers in assigned territory
- Communicate clinical and economic value of diagnostic products to secure purchase agreements
- Manage sales process across clinical labs, infectious disease clinicians, pharmacy, and hospital administration
- Achieve sales targets for manual microbiology, blood culture, TB, ID/AST, and molecular diagnostics
- Coordinate new customer acquisition and account growth using team selling model
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biology, business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of top 20% sales performance with laboratory products
- At least 1 year of clinical laboratory or hospital sales experience
- Clinical market sales, financial, or technical selling experience
- Medical Technology (MT ASCP) certification or microbiology degree preferred
Compensation: $125,000-$205,000 annual base plus incentive
