This dental hygienist position qualifies for Loan Repayment Options

The Expanded Practice Registered Dental Hygienist works collaboratively with an integrated care team to provide direct dental hygiene clinical treatment and education in oral health maintenance and prevention to mobile medical clinic patients. The expanded practice registered dental hygienist develops and implements an individual preventive oral health program for clinic patients, other interested individuals and organizations. The position provides much-needed education and prevention services to a culturally diverse population that often has limited prior exposure to modern dental procedures. Creates a work culture of respect, trust and understanding for the highly diverse populations the Health Department serves in the office and in the community. Every employee shares the responsibility for promptly bringing to the County's attention conduct that interferes with providing a work environment free of illegal discrimination and harassment. This is a Limited Duration position.

Schedule will be 4 days per week: 8 hours/day, with 2 late days and 2 early days. Mondays and Tuesdays - late days, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays - early days, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
