You will be in a performance-based hunter role, utilizing a consultative solutions sales approach, with rewards for creativity and hard work. The Account Executive will be a solid relationship builder with the ability to penetrate organizations and build strong relationships. You have a knack for asking broader questions and discerning long-term needs and solutions outside of the traditional “product” sale. This role is empowered to develop the Live Performance market by establishing relationships with influential end users, established consultants, and architects to promote the market’s unique value proposition through Diversified’s innovative design-build and forward-thinking project results. Once a client engagement is sold, you will work alongside the rest of the sales and design team to create engaging and high-impact production environments. You will communicate specific client requirements to internal and external Diversified support personnel, assist in building project bill of materials, and creation of conceptual images and documents to support the design development. It is your responsibility to own the client relationship fully from start to finish, making certain that client expectations are being met or exceeded by creating realistic expectations, then taking responsibility for meeting those expectations. This position is 100% remote and will require hours on the phone, in front of a computer, as well as travel to visit clients in person up to 60% of the time. Location Preference: South-east What You’ll Do: Business Development & Sales: Develop client relationships, make prospect calls to generate customer meetings,maintaincustomer data in the CRM, organize client meetings, ensure clients’objectives, problems, and needs are fully understood, provide value-added solutions Conduct high level conversations with executive leadership Function as the lead customer relationship manager for new and assigned accounts Partner with theVice President –Faith+Performanceand Director of Strategic Accounts – Performanceto manage the sales process and creation of sales deliverables for all clients regardless of relationship owner Participate in coordinated activities such as trade shows and conferencesin order tobuild our brand, develop relationships, and advance in knowledge that willassistour clients Sales Engineering: Participate in sales meetings with clients, design reviews with our internal team, and project training and client consulting as needed Responsible for the creation of opinions of costbudgets, rough orders of magnitude,conceptuals, bill of materials, narratives, and agreements at the direction ofteam leadership Technical and Business Expertise: Candidates shouldpossessa good understanding of production system technologies withdemonstratedspecialization in at least one of the major disciplines – concert audio, multi-camera video, stage lighting, and/or environment design Candidates should have experience in production leadership withinlive performance,churchand/or faith-based organizations with specialization in creating high impact environments An awareness of thenumeroussources thatperformanceorganizationslook tofor inspiration- including relevanttours, conferences, online, andmega churches.
