Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting. Supervises and coordinates nursing activities, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to established standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions to facilitate immediate and effective interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options, procedures, and health maintenance.
• Supervise and delegate duties to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in accordance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate at least two years of recent ER or acute care experience.
• Possess current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Have strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
